Since its origination in 1886,
Cappella has gone through many changes.
We have purposefully dedicated the past few years to preserving much of the building's original visual appeal and history, while making improvements and adding design elements that connect past to present.

Stella Ballroom
Accommodates up to 300 Guests
Our most premier venue, the Stella Ballroom features balcony seating, vaulted ceilings, open beams, skylights, exposed brick, and original stained glass windows.
Cappella Ballroom
Accommodates up to 400 Guests
Original stained glass windows and 40' cathedral ceilings make this bright and open, yet intimate space the perfect backdrop to bring the event of your dreams to life.
Uptown Loft
Accommodates up to 175 Guests
Located on Cappella's second story, Uptown Loft boasts an Art Deco design style and glimmers with 21 chandeliers. Enjoy captivating views of downtown La Crosse.
Cargill-Pettibone Mansion
Accommodates up to 50 Guests
Located just across the street from Cappella, the newly restored 1877 mansion is an idyllic setting for lodging, rehearsal dinners, intimate weddings, and bridal showers, to name a few.
Apothik Tavern
Accommodates up to 45 Guests
Apothik operates as Cappella's in-house caterer and also maintains its brick and mortar location just 4 blocks away. Our gourmet chefs can't wait to curate the perfect menu for your event!
